Delete your account
You can delete your Mahjong Hanzi account and its data at any time. Deletion is permanent — progress cannot be recovered afterwards.
In the app (fastest)
- Open Mahjong Hanzi and go to Settings → Account.
- Choose Delete account and pass the parental gate.
- Confirm. The account and its data are deleted and the app returns to its freshly installed state.
Without access to the app
E-mail support@hanzigames.com with the subject “Account deletion”. So that nobody can delete someone else’s account, we need to confirm the account is yours:
- Account linked to Apple or Google — write from that account’s e-mail address, or give your Apple relay address if you use one.
- Guest account — include the account code shown in Settings → Account [verification mechanism to be built]. A leaderboard nickname alone is not enough.
We will confirm your request and delete the account within 30 days.
What we delete
- the profile: nickname, flag and Panda outfit;
- scores, progress, items and leaderboard entries;
- the link to your Apple or Google account (for Apple we also revoke the sign-in token);
- push notification tokens;
- gameplay data tied to the account.
What may remain for a while
- backups — up to [number of days] days, then overwritten;
- aggregate statistics with no identifiers (they cannot be linked to you);
- correspondence about the deletion — as proof that the request was handled.
